New Bethel Weekly (July 7 2017)

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.

                                Joshua 1:3 (NASB)

It is time to get out of the building and start meeting the neighbors.  This Sunday is the next Evangelist Team meeting and we are going Prayer Walking!  The meeting starts about 15 minutes after Sunday Celebration and goes to about 2pm.  All of our team meetings are “open meetings” meaning everyone is welcome.  It doesn’t matter if you have been to all the meetings or none, you are invited to be part of this outing.

All the Evangelist Team meetings are Lunch-N-Learn style meetings, so remember to bring a brown bag lunch to eat before we go out.  For our first outing, we will be covering the campus.  For those that feel led, we will stop by the local businesses and introduce ourselves and New Bethel Church.  We want to be a blessing to our neighbors and to extend the open heaven that is over New Bethel so it rains on them too.

For those who are unfamiliar with prayer walking, it is exactly what it sounds like.  We literally walk around the campus and pray as Holy Spirit leads.  It will be a little warm, so dress accordingly and wear good walking shoes.  If you are planning to walk with us, please start praying now about what you are to release.  Also, see if Jesus is a laying a specific business on your heart.  Remember there are more businesses connected to our campus than Rays, Bucks and Jelly Beans.  If you are not able to walk with us, please keep the team covered in prayer.  You can also start lifting us up now and begin to pray-in those God Encounters.

In other news, New Bethel will NOT be serving at With Love from Jesus on Saturday.  While we will not be on site this month, it is a good time to remind everyone that we are a donation collection spot for WLFJ.  You are welcome to bring dry/canned food and gently used clothing to leave in the box located in the long hall by the kids’ classrooms.  Large items, like furniture, can be donated as well but should be taken directly to WLFJ.  For more information about location and donation hours please visit their website.  I cannot say enough good things about the work done at With Love from Jesus.  Know that when you donate to WLFJ you are giving to an organization that works hard to not only meet the physical needs of their honored guests, but their spiritual needs as well.

Finally, Vine Groups are still going strong and meeting dates are listed below.  If you are new to New Bethel we would like you to know that Vine Groups is the name of our small groups or home groups.  There are currently 3 meetings that take place at the homes of our members.  Vine groups are a great way to feel more connected to New Bethel and get to know some of the people you worship with.

That’s it for this week.  I love you and look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.

Blessings,

~Allen Wilson

LOVE ALWAYS TRIUMPHS

love-triumphs
Lazarus lives because of love:

Now Jesus LOVED Martha and her sister and Lazarus. John 11:5

So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you LOVE is sick.” John 11:3
Then the Jews said, “See how he LOVED him!”
Throughout this passage, we see how Jesus loved Lazarus and his family deeply. The atmosphere of love was abounding.
Jesus (love) showed up in the scene and overcame death. Love overcomes death. Death cannot hold love.  Love can change any situation.
In the midst of doubting people,  Jesus (love) was the only one who believed that Lazarus would live and indeed Lazarus came back to life.
Love believes in all things. 1 Cor 13:7
So we see that doubt or any other human weakness cannot hold Jesus (love) from having His way. Love covers and makes all things right. The word says that love covers all wrongs. All wrongs like doubt and unbelief were covered in this situation and love triumphed over death and Lazarus came back to life.
I want to encourage you today that because God loves you, you will triumph over that challenging situation. Love turns our weaknesses into strengths and we see the turnaround. God is faithful. God is love and love has come today to cause you to triumph. In love, there is always life. Love is the greatest. Love is the most excellent way.
Read John 11:1-44 and see and receive the power of love.

The Branches

Four years ago I received in the mail a bundle of what appeared to be sticks.  They looked like something you would start a fire with.  They were about twelve inches long and a little larger than the diameter of a pencil.  I happened to know that they were not “just” sticks. They contained life in them and properly cared for, would one day produce grapes. Continue reading “The Branches”

Grace, Love and Faith

” I was shown MERCY because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The GRACE of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the FAITH and LOVE that are IN Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 1:13-14, NIV)

In this  Scripture we see Paul testifying of how God looked upon Him with mercy and brought supernatural transformation to His life. God poured abundant grace, faith and love on Him. That is why we see Paul was able to do great and mighty exploits for God. It was not by his power or might but by the power of the Spirit of God. He was given supernatural grace, faith and love to operate in the earth realm to advance God’s kingdom.

grace love faith

I believe right  now in the body of Christ God has poured out grace, faith and love for us to do amazing things for the Kingdom and glorify His Name.

If He did it for His son, Paul, He has done it for us now and even greater…the testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy.

The realm of grace, faith and love is abiding in Christ. A place of rest where His Spirit leads and guides us to all truth. A place where He is our strength and confidence. A place of walking on water, partaking of His divine nature and sharing in the glorious inheritance of God. A place of victory, purpose, joy, peace and love.

Receive grace, love and faith now. Amen
